The GreaThai Restaurant - The Thai Styled Steamed Fish Specialist

These days, we have so many restaurants selling Thai food. One of the common dishes of a thai cuisine is non-other than Tom Yum. I have eaten tom yum on many occassions but it was only recently I learnt that there are two types of tom yum...

I went to the GreaThai restaurant for lunch and I realised that there are two types of tom yum soup; red and white. I asked the waitress and according to the waitress, the red variety contains coconut milk and both are just as spicy.

Kookie Krumbz - Freshly Baked Cookies That Is Simply Worth The Wait!!

I love cookies, especially if it fresh from the oven. I love the sweet aroma that is lingering in the air once that oven is opened. It really teases the tastebuds. One of the common place we get cookies from is Famous Amos. Recently, I have found another cookie bakery that, to me, serves better cookies.

Seafood By The Sea Revisited - Rasa Istimewa Woodlands Waterfront Restaurant

In Singapore, we are really blessed with tonnes of good food. Having a small local market did not seem to stop budding foodpreneurs from whipping their specialty to the market. However, one of the main issues that bug customers big time is drop in standard; service standard, quality of food, taste and the list goes one.

So it is important that food bloggers make a return visit just to see where the standards lie.

This week, my wife and I decided to dine at Rasa Istimewa Woodlands Waterfront Restaurant. While we were walking on the jetty, my eldest daughter said she wanted to eat Chilli Crab. Since there were so few of us, we decided to drop the steamed fish (which my wife wanted) and go for chilli crab instead.

So we ordered the following;
1. Fried rice with seafood and salted fish
2. Sweet and Sour Fish slices
3. Chilli Crab.
